The Sydney Royal Easter Show

So in a snap decision, we decided to go to the Easter Show. On Easter Saturday. Of course, one of the busiest days of the show.
If  you saw this motley crew, then you saw us. Look how excited we were when we first walked through the gates. We didn’t look this crash hot when we left.

A photo with some beef.
A photo with an alpaca.
Delicious showbags. I got the Flake, Steve the Dream, Luke went with Mentos and Warheads and Amy with Trolli. Kate wanted the Adventure Time bag, but was sold out everywhere! I’d never heard of it before, but I’m guessing it popular?
My favourite part of the show, the displays made out of food. This one was entered by a school. Everything was covered in birdseed.
All in all, we had fun, spent a small fortune and have decided that it just isn’t as good as it used to be. I doubt we will go again for a long time. I’m thinking about supporting our smaller local shows, like the Hawkesbury and Luddenham shows. Maybe that way, we will actually get a chance to see things rather than just be herded through the pavilions en mass.
