I am a little super excited, my holidays for July have been approved. A whole 4 weeks off work. Oh goodness. I have no idea what I am going to do with myself. Actually I do know. I am going to get my life back. My mental health will thank me for it! I really
The retreat was good. It was great to get away and not have to cook and clean. Even if we did sleep in tent like structures and it was so cold the first night that it was difficult to sleep. The second night I was too tipsy to notice or care. That’s an advantage. I
A couple of layouts before I go and finish packing for the retreat I am going on. 🙂 These layouts are for the newsletter at Ideal Papercraft. I was given the Bo Bunny Flower Child range. And I even made a card. Cards are certainly not my forte, that’s for sure! That’s it for now.

Is it possible that I have another layout to upload already? Indeed. I did this as part of a blind layout challenge over at Ideal Papercraft. If you have seen this post HERE then you might already know my news. If you haven’t seen the post and don’t want to click on the link, let me tell you what it is about. Yep. I am now an Aussie ScrapJacker!!! Here is the first layout I did as part of the DT.
Not one, but TWO layouts! Yes, you read correctly! The first one is a little one I scrapped last night. I was in the mood, and in the groove and this came together really quickly. I love those type of layouts. It made me realise that I shouldn’t fight my scrapping style/instincts. I do love
Nothing witty, just a layout for the new challenge up over at Journal Challenges. The challenge was to not journal on paper or cardstock. I have to thank Kate who suggested the whole stick thing. You know, she might make a scrapper afterall. 😉 Thanks babe.
I admit, you only ever see me when I have a new layout to share. Maybe if I was funny or quirky and made more interesting reading than I would post more. Sadly, I don’t think I am all that interesting. So. Yes. Another layout. It was a quick layout because I thought it wasn’t
You know, there are some definite advantages to working nights. Some mornings I get to see the most spectacular sunrises. I think with the heavy fog this morning it made for a real treat. The sun was just a massive big orange ball on the horizon today so as soon as I got home I
Ok, so the layout didn’t turn out as bad as I had thought it would. I have been loving the inspiration coming from this blog – Gallery Standouts. I already love scrapping vertical and symmetrical so a lot of these layouts just feel ‘right’ to me. You know? I tried to be arty and free
It’s been a while. We even went on a little camping holiday up to Forster. A nice little spot if you are into fishing and the beach. We had a really nice couple of days away. A little stressful but still nice enough. This is what we woke up to every morning. Nice, huh? Now
You can’t rush these things… yes, it only took me tree days, but I scrapped! This layout was for the sketch challenge on the Scrapbooking Memories site. I don’t do challenges often, but I had a bit of an idea for this one and just had to scrap it. Just before I go, I would
Edited: Scrapbooking Memories was an Australian scrapbooking magazine that is no longer in print. Every year the magazine would have a competition where ten scrapbookers would be selected as ‘masters’. The masters would contribute to the magazine throughout the following year. In addition to the masters, a number of other scrapbookers would be selected to

Does anyone else keep writing October 2001 (as in 10.01)? Or is it just me? Another post? So soon. Yep, a layout to share. Based on this sketch for the challenge over at The Scrapbook Establishment. I decided to have another crack at Project 365. Last year I didn’t even get to day 19. Let’s
A few things, Christmas was wonderful. It was so much nicer than I imagined it would be. No, my house wasn’t decorated like I wanted it to be and no, I didn’t cook the massive big feast I wanted to, but you know, it was still perfect. Steve’s low salicylate, anime and glutomate diet has

Day 22 Today I took the kids to get their Santa photo. There were many protests, all by Kate of course because she did not like the shirt I wanted her to wear. Lucky I am bigger and older or the kids might not have had matching clothing. I will upload the photo tomorrow. Today’s
Day 21 Oh my, we are almost there, aren’t we? Just 4 more sleeps! Only 3 for crazy people like me though. For today’s 25 days of Christmas goodness I have something very special. Yes it is an advent calendar, but it just oozes with festive cuteness. Click on this link to take you to
Day 19 & Day 20 It’s not that I didn’t want to blog yesterday, it’s just that I did not have one spare moment in which to do it in. Sorry about that. So, today, there are two Christmas crafts to share. They are both awesome ideas. The first one is to make your own
